Welcome to the farm!
We are so happy you are here! Our little farm has brought so much joy into our lives over the years and we are so happy to share it with all of you.
Our farm, our marriage, and our business are all rooted in faith. Through faith we have come through tough times to experience pure joy. For us our little farm is a place we experience joy daily.
We are dealers of pure joy - we breed, raise, and sell mini donkeys, which in our humble opinions are pure joy in animal form!
We invite you to follow along! Every day is an new adventure!
Follow our journey.
@Boyle.Family.Farm
Your daily dose of joy, delivered by long ears and big hearts! 💕
There’s something magical about the way mini donkeys bring smiles to every face they meet. Whether it’s their playful antics, their gentle nuzzles, or their ability to make you pause and enjoy the moment, these little bundles of love remind us what joy is all about.
Being a joy dealer isn’t just about the donkeys—it’s about the connection, laughter, and memories they create for families they become a part of. Sharing their sweetness with others is our greatest reward.
Ready for some donkey love? Let us sprinkle some joy into your life, one bray at a time. 🫏

3 Lessons I’ve Learned Starting a Small Farm Business
Start Small
It’s tempting to dive in headfirst, but starting small lets you learn as you grow—without getting overwhelmed. Every big farm starts with small, manageable steps. I made the mistake of getting too excited and adding in things without really thinking about the impact on stress levels. It created a ton of unnecessary overwhelm. Take your time and it will pay off!
It’s Okay to Go Slow
Building a farm (or any business) is a marathon, not a sprint. Growth takes time, and there’s no rush to do it all at once. Slow and steady wins the race, especially when you’re balancing sustainability and sanity. We started with mini donkeys. But once that started to take off I was looking for the next thing to add in. It created too much stress and then our growing breeding program suffered and we lost a ton of money one year because we were being pulled in too many directions. Slow and steady wins the race!
Research and Planning Pay Off
Before planting your first seed or selling your first product, take the time to plan. From market research to crop rotation schedules, preparation lays the foundation for success. Know your market! How many others in your area are doing the same thing? What does the profit margin look like? Sometimes what seems like a good idea ends up costing you in the end, whether that be in time or money.
Starting small, staying patient, and planning wisely have been game-changers on this journey. If you’re dreaming of starting your own small farm, remember—growth happens one step at a time.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned while chasing a dream? Share below!

Once upon a time, there was a farmer and his wife who dreamed of having just one mini donkey. A sweet, playful companion to brighten their days on the farm.
Okay so it was Me and Daniel…but it was a real Christmas miracle 🙏🏼
Fast forward a few years, and that simple wish has blossomed into a herd of adorable mini donkeys!
What started as a quiet hope became a passion—these little ones are more than just animals; they’re family. Each donkey has its own quirks, personality, and way of bringing joy to the farm.
Sometimes, the dreams you dare to wish for grow into something far bigger (and better) than you ever imagined.
To those dreaming of their “mini donkey”—whatever that may look like for you—don’t be afraid to nurture those dreams. You never know how they might multiply!
Do you have a dream that grew into something unexpected? We’d love to hear your story!

JOMO > FOMO
I’ve officially opted out of FOMO because I’m fully committed to JOMO—the Joy of Missing Out. There’s nothing better than staying home, soaking up the peace, and doing what truly makes me happy.
These days, the only thing that gets me out of the house is yoga. It’s my time to recharge, find balance, and connect with myself. Everything else? It can wait.
Who else is on the JOMO train with me? Let’s normalize prioritizing what brings us joy over the pressure to always “be there.” 💕
Confession: I only get FOMO when I miss yoga @weareupliftelkgrove !

This week, we said bittersweet goodbyes as the last of our 2024 mini donkey babes headed off to their new farm. Watching them grow and thrive has been such a joy, and now they’re off to spread love and charm to their new families. 💕
As the farm feels a little quieter, we’re already looking ahead to 2025! Prep work has begun, and the excitement is building for the next generation of mini donkey magic. From planning to pampering our mamas-to-be, this cycle of life is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
Here’s to a year of happy beginnings and even more adorable moments to come. Thank you to everyone who made 2024 so special—we c#an’t wait to see what’s next!

Farming is a lifestyle that demands hard work, stamina, and being in tune with your body. While most of us focus on productivity, it’s easy to forget that our success depends on our health—and staying hydrated is a cornerstone of that.
Hydration isn’t just about drinking water; it’s about replacing the minerals we lose while sweating under the sun or hustling through daily chores. That’s why consistency in hydration matters, and tools like Redmond Real Salt Relyte and Optima Electrolytes can make all the difference.
Relyte provides a perfect balance of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and chloride—essential electrolytes for sustained energy. Similarly, Optima Electrolytes are designed to replenish and fuel your body with clean, science-backed hydration.
But here’s the thing: It’s not enough to hydrate only when you feel thirsty. By the time you notice thirst, your body is already craving balance. Start every day with an intentional hydration plan:
1. Kick off the morning with a glass of water mixed with electrolytes to replenish your system after a night’s rest.
2. Carry a refillable water bottle while working, and sip throughout the day to avoid fatigue.
3. Rehydrate after the work is done to help your body recover and prepare for tomorrow.
For those of us who thrive on the farm, hydration isn’t just self-care—it’s a key to sustainability. Being consistent ensures you’re ready for the long haul, whether it’s planting, harvesting, or simply enjoying the beauty of the land you work so hard to nurture.
What’s your hydration routine? Have you tried @redmondrelyte or @goultima? Share your tips below—I’d love to hear how you stay fueled and focused!

I’m not in competition with anyone. I don’t care who’s doing better, faster, or bigger. My only rival is me. My goal is simple: to be better than I was yesterday. It’s interesting that our nature as humans is often to compare ourselves to others and participate in some unspoken competition.
Over the past few years, I’ve grown in ways I never thought possible. I make choices that protect my peace, prioritize my wellness, and honor the life I want to live. I no longer pour my energy into things that drain me or into people that drain me. Instead, I focus on what serves me, what brings me joy, and what aligns with who I’m becoming.
Here’s to always trying to show up in the world as our best selves! How are you protecting your peace?

Hey, busy bees 🐝—here’s your friendly reminder to take a break. Yes, the to-do list will still be there, but guess what? So will YOU, and you’ll tackle it better when you’re refreshed.
Take a moment to pause, breathe, and do something that lights you up. Read that book, play with your animals, hang out with your kids, go for a walk, or simply sit in silence. Your future self will thank you for choosing rest over burnout.
Because the most productive thing you can sometimes do is nothing at all. 🌿💛

Healing Takes Time
There’s no shortcut, no magic formula for healing. Whether it’s your mind, body, or spirit, true healing takes patience, dedication, and self-compassion. While it’s easy to want quick fixes, lasting change comes when we give ourselves the grace to heal at our own pace.
Start with what you can control: your nutrition, your movement, your community. Fuel your body with care, move with intention, and surround yourself with those who uplift you. Little by little, these steps create the foundation for real transformation.
So, take a deep breath, honor where you are, and trust that in time, everything will fall into place. Healing isn’t a destination; it’s a journey. Embrace each moment, knowing that every small effort brings you closer to wholeness.

How I prioritize wellness:
I wake up before the sun, step into the quiet stillness of the morning, and stretch my body awake. Sometimes, it’s on the yoga mat with deep breaths, and other times it’s just wandering barefoot in the grass. My animals see me before anyone else does, and I savor those first moments with them.
I’m getting better at leaving the to-do list behind every once in a while—chores can wait while I lose myself in a good book or learn something new just for the joy of it. I’ve learned that sometimes the best productivity trick is to close my planner and just be in the moment.
And yes, I’ve stopped feeling guilty about prioritizing time for myself. Because it’s when I’m happiest, grounded, and rested that I can give the best of myself to others.
Tell me how do you prioritize your wellness?

How our mornings start set the tone for the day. I get up at 5 am every week day, but on Tuesdays I’m up and out of the house by 4:25. Tuesdays are hard. I’m taking a new class at my yoga studio. I’m out of my comfort zone. But I LOVE it! The hard is I personally experience the most growth.
Coincidentally I’m also reading a book that @legallymomming shared titled The 5 am Club. While I am not quite in the practice of the 5 am club, it feels like I’ve been preparing for it for some time now.
Getting up this early is a form of self care. It’s when I meditate, pray, ground myself, and get in a workout. This time allows me to prepare for whatever my role as a high school teacher has in store for me. Tuesdays have become especially special for me as I and up a little over an hour earlier than normal, challenging my mind and also my physical body. I’m so grateful for the time and the space to grow.
Do you have a morning routine? I’d love to hear what you’re doing to care for yourself!

Being healthy and feeling whole isn’t linear. And it certainly doesn’t look the same for everyone. Feeling whole is different for everyone. Feeling whole or normal or simply okay isn’t just about physical health - there’s the emotion, the mental, the ability to breathe in all of our situations. And the road map to our whole looks different for everyone.
What inspires you? Do you even remember? What gets you out of bed in the morning? Are your driven by faith, love, inspiration or even frustration? There are so many aspects to being healthy and feeling whole. For me the path is through meditation. You might say that’s where I’m rooted. Silent meditations, guided meditations, and meditation through movement like yoga. This is where I reconnected with my purpose, my why. It’s so easy to get caught up in the hamster wheel, to get trapped in the digital distractions that hold us prisoner, the negative thoughts that keep us from greatness.
I’ve been so inspired, encouraged even to take back control of my life- my thoughts especially. And there are some exciting things to come as the year comes to a close and I can’t wait to share them with you 🩷
Where do you need encouragement right now? I’d love to help you with it!

🍂 Change is a beautiful thing. As we “fall back” and set the clocks back, we’re given the perfect reminder to pause, reflect, and reset. Just like the seasons shift, so do we. Now is the time to reevaluate our goals, check in with our “why,” and make sure our choices are aligned with our purpose. Change isn’t just about moving forward—it’s about choosing the right path, and sometimes, that means taking a step back to see the bigger picture. 🌅
Here’s to embracing the shifts, finding clarity, and moving forward with intention.

Whatever your belief system, I think we can all agree that we can all agree that we have been blessed. By the nature all around us, maybe by family, maybe friends, maybe travel… we have something to live for and something to be our best selves for.
I feel so blessed by the life the Lord has blessed me with. It isn’t always easy, but my gosh how he has blessed me. I’ve seen so much beauty, met the kindest people and have a husband that loves me.
My reason is for he who has blessed me with so much and for those he has placed in my life. I hope that wherever I go that I have passed through with kindness and love. That the people I meet along the way feel cared about and seen. And that through it all I hope absorb all of the love and all of the kindness to bring to the next adventure.
